Company in Repose

The Company in repose

Dancer Biz(s)

Dancers are some of the most enterprising people you could ever hope to work with. The nature of the profession includes being good at many different things, from the specifics of dance technique & training, teaching & coaching, and communication skills in several different mediums. Often times they are entrepreneurs in that many have their own freelance businesses or work with many different companies. The nature of the dance ecosystem (funders, presenters, salary programs) is that dancers are rarely compensated in way that their true contributions are suitably recognized.

To that end, while Pi Dance Theatre compensates our dancers and collaborators as best it can, the company invites you to consider doing business with our company members, current and alumni (years in parentheses), to continue supporting these multi talented artists you enjoy watching, ensuring their success in the many arenas they are active.
